Marco and Tatjana in Verona

04 July 2024

When Marco asked us to meet for a drink it seemed a nice idea, little did we know what he had in mind...

over an Aperol Spritz he told us that he was getting married but it was still a secret since Tatjana had to graduate first before he could ask for her hand.  Complices right from the start!

As the dream took shape they told us that they would have liked an orthodox religious rite in church and so here came the first hurdle; findind the right Church, Oh!  by the way we did not mention he told us there were only going to be 350 guests from just about all over the world since Marco is half Italian and half Spanish, Tatjana being a delightful mix of Russian, Austrian, French and German;. Having studied in Europe they had friends from just about any corner of the world.

They were able to celebrate in the Basilica of Sant'Anastasia in Verona in a an emotional and magnificent rite that had all of us very emotional, we then proceeded on to Piazza Erbe where all the guests were invited to a continental mix of Apertif and light lunch under a glorious sunny sky with at band playing and guests dancing in the square!

Dinner was at Marco's family home in Ca'Ottolina, a location that he let's out to other couples who wish to celebrate their wedding and it was a tumultous and dynamic evening with the couple arriving at dinner on horseback followed by dinner served by "lyrical singing waiters" who entertained everyone with short "arias" from various famous Opera's.

It all ended in the best of fashion with a capitvating and energetic DJ that had had everyone stomping around when not making the best of the open bar offered of course by Marco and Tatjana. Such a good time was had by all that the evening ended the following morning at 5am and of course Wedinverona was there to close it all up making sure the last stragglers got home!

as we always say we prefer our couples to speak for us...

Marco and Tatjana

Angie and Carla organized this June an absolutely spectacular wedding for us and our international 350 guests! My wife and I never thought of having a wedding planner before until we realized how helpful and relaxing everything became being in the hands of such professionals. Not to mention, and this came as a surprise for us, what a saving of money it ment to have a wedding planner as they are used to negotiate with all providers, advising us on what is really necessary and what isnt.

From the first moment months ago it was a real pleasure to have them by our side because they made really easy what for us would have beed super stressful and this contributed to our peace which is something priceless in such a moment in ones life. Their experience in so many events helped to always make the right decision and they would notice and see what we would have never realized when begin alone. From choosing a catering and deciding a menu, finding light technician and shuttle services, having the best flower contacts and musicians to helping us with the Italian complicated paper work, nothing would be out of their capacity and if we had a strange request they would always come up with a solution. When the wedding day arrived Angie and Carla were there the whole time to assist every guest who needed something and made all of the parts of the big day work together and flow so naturally that it will stay forever in our friends and families memories as a huge success and the best thing is that we didn’t have to worry if something would go wrong. Angie and Carla were one step ahead of everything. We are extremely thankful about all of this, but especially for their enthusiasm that made it clear that they cared as if it was their own wedding day and this is something we will never forget!
