Elizabeth and Stefano are getting married!

Stefano and Elisa are just another one of the many stories I hear and each one is always unique and leaves me truly spellbound.  With every new couple I meet and get to know I realise how little I know of life...

Their story was truly a match made in heaven because as Stefano said whilst we were speaking "I did not quite want to return home to a foggy London and so when a friend of mine invited to me come over for a couple of days to Greece I jumped at the idea...little did I know that this was just the hand of fate welcoming me on the path to my destiny...

Loving Greece and enjoying sightseeing the island on a bike with my friend, we decided to stop off at a patisserie for a coffee and a pastry, when .....a vision walked in.  Hearing us talk in italian Elisa stopped up to make some friendly conversation and give Stefano some tips telling him to taste a particular pastry.   Stefano deicded that he definitely wanted to see Elisa again and again and again...

After a couple of months of long distance Stefano decided to move to Greece just before the coronavirus pandemic overtook us all.   There idyllic daily life continued and as time passed for Stefano there was only one road to walk down...ask Elizabeth's father for her hand in marriage...

The rest is just another fairytale that we add to our book of fairytales at Wedinverona.

They got married in the majestic Basilica of Sant'Anastasia in Verona with their friends and family joining us from all over the globe and they proceeded to celebrate  in the beautiful setting of Villa Arvedi in Verona, one of the most beautiful and breathtaking locations in Verona...

Stefano and Elizabeth after their honeymoon returned to Greece and have made their home there...

They wanted this phrase added on at the end of the ceremony in the prayer books
